Four Seasons Quilt Shoppe - Dreaming of Paris!

It was about this time last year that I started dreaming about going to Paris! It was a city I had always wanted to see, to explore, and as everyone says "you're not getting any younger, you know". And I've been thinking about going again, especially since the weather this past weekend was wet and gray, the same as it was in Paris when I was there at the end of March. But, oh yes, we had days of sunshine, too, and walking around the city, looking at all of the pastry and chocolate shops was such a delight! We'll see . . . maybe I'll go again, but a little later in the Spring when the flowers are in full bloom and a little warmer, too!

But I would really love to go during the holidays, when the shops are dressed up for Christmas. Maybe that's what I'll do . . . to treat myself after a year of buying less fabric. You see, I went a little crazy last year and bought more fabric than I could sew - I guess there are worse addictions than fabric, but this year, I hope to control my every urge to buy even more. I'll sew into quilts what I already have, and be happy with that! And if I'm really, really good - I'll treat myself to a trip to Paris for Christmas!

Oh, do take yourself to Paris. I was there in April 2 years ago and it is a lovely place. I dream of returning someday.
