Lakewood 400 Antiques in Cumming, GA
It's no secret how much I really love Lakewood 400 Antiques in Cumming, GA. On the third weekend of every month (next date is June 20, 21, 22), you can find me strolling the aisles, chatting up the vendors, and enjoying a cheeseburger/french fries/small coke that has become a ritual. Some of the "special finds" that I've purchased from these vendors have made their way into quilts that are now for sale. Just like the yellow picnic tablecloth that I bought from Chippy's back in late winter - I cut it up, pieced it with Moda's "Peas and Carrots" collection of fabrics, and named the quilt "Summer Picnic". I promise to post a photo soon . . . Please mark your calendar and come join me for a fun way to spend a Saturday (or Friday and Sunday, too). And visit the Chippy's website . . . they are two fun girls!
