So Many Quilts, So Little Time . . .
Like so many people that "create", we have regular day jobs to support our habit. Thank goodness for those day jobs! But . . . so often in the midst of a task, you'll get a brilliant idea that you just have to jot down - you grab a piece of paper, a pen, and quickly sketch your idea for another quilt. You stash the "new idea" in your purse in hopes that someday . . . you'll choose that scrap of paper, and another quilt is born. I'm a morning person, therefore, my best ideas come to me most often between 5:00 a.m. and lunch. Bright, happy quilts that make me smile or darker, more sophisticated quilts that would fit right into a Southern Living magazine spread. Yes, I live to quilt . . . but my regular day job enables me to "live the lifestyle to which I've become accustomed" - eating, paying the bills, and always thankful.
