Little girls just love kittens . . .
What is it about soft cuddly kittens that make little girls want to hold them? Or big girls, too? The Dawson County Humane Society had a wonderful opportunity to bring many adoptables to a special adoption event in Alpharetta this weekend, and I was able to get a great photo of two young girls holding one of Virginia's foster babies . . . so sweet! We adopted a little black kitten named BooBoo that Doc Mill's had been fostering at his clinic, and we saw many happy pet owners looking for companion animals - one bloodhound named Floppy had a little friend named Mota, and the ladies that cared for these great dogs were so interesting to talk to . . . We saw dogs of all shapes and sizes, plus big cats and little kittens . . . some miniature horses, a llama, and over 60+ rescue groups. Many thanks to the Save the Horses rescue group for hosting this great adoption event . . . we're looking forward to next year already!
