Chocolate Cherry Kisses

Dark chocolate, raspberry and cherry filling, sweet milk chocolate, and just a touch of marshmallow - these yummy-licious colors are included in Chocolate Cherry Kisses . . . one of the latest creations from Four Seasons Quilt Shoppe. This quilt was "for sale" at the Big Canoe Tour of Homes last weekend, but I secretly hoped it wouldn't sell . . . and now it's hanging in my office! Thank you, quilt fairy - I'm keeping it for myself!

My next vendor show is the Crossroads at Crabapple event on October 2, and there are so many more quilts to be made before the Fall. I ordered J. Wecker Frisch's "Animal Alphabet Games today from Erica's, and cannot wait until it arrives. I've been so good lately - not buying any new fabric while trying to use up what I already own . . . and I have a LOT of fabric, too. But I knew that if I waited much longer, I would not be able to find the collection pieces I wanted . . . and I know that the quilt that I will make from these fabrics will "sell like hotcakes" in the Fall.

The detail of Chocolate Cherry Kisses is best described as "melt in your mouth delicious" fabrics from one of the Valentine-themed collections from Moda. And the thread makes it that much more special, too. The King Tut line from Superior Threads is a beautifully variegated, 100% Egytpian cotton thread that complements any quilt, and comes in such a great range of colors - from pastels to strong bold colors, I highly recommend this excellent product, and in fact, don't use any other thread.

Stay tuned for more "hot off the quilt rack" quilts over the next few weeks as I move back into production mode for Fall!
