The Big Canoe Tour of Homes was an outstanding success this year, and I am very proud to be a part of such a worthwhile event. Clark Howard's home was on the tour, and tour tickets were "sold out" both Friday (for Big Canoe residents) and Saturday (open to the public). Featured at left are three of my new quilts - top to bottom - "Queen of Posh", "Christmas Fly Away", and "Asian Garden" - which sold! I brought 24 new quilts with me to this show - a little bit of each season (spring, summer, fall, winter) and some all-season quilts, too. And I was fortunate to be located next to the Bear Paw Cafe, the event bakery that sells pies, cakes, cookies, cupcakes, etc., and practically ate my way through the two event days! The weather cooperated, people were very happy to be there, and a good time was had by all! I'm looking forward to the next Big Canoe event - Oktoberfest on October 9!
