Four Seasons Quilt Shoppe - Baby, It's Cold Outside!

In my last post, I was wishing for a hurried Spring, envisioning the flower markets of Paris from last year's wonderful vacation. This week, Mother Nature decided we needed a reality check. I'm sure she was thinking . . . it's February and that means it's winter. And winter means snow . . . lots and lots of snow! I work for a company that has offices up and down the Atlantic coastline - Boston, Baltimore, Rockville, Washington . . . and all of these offices were closed at some point this week!

Yesterday was Atlanta's turn. The National Weather Service predicted between 2-4 inches and they were right on in their calculations. They are advising everyone to stay off the roadways due to underlying ice and hazardous driving conditions, so I'm taking their advice. I was able to grocery shop yesterday and get home as the snow was beginning to fall, then watch as the snow continued until almost midnight! It's so beautiful, so quiet this morning . . . As you can see, the sun is coming up and it's going to be a beautiful day . . .
