The above photograph has been around for awhile - and I want to thank the photographer that took this oh-so-great Fall photo as it has inspired not only me, but hundreds (probably thousands or millions) of people who love the Fall season just like I do. During a conversation with my mom, she wondered "where" this magical place is, and how do we find it . . . so if anyone knows where this is, please let me know. It might be a "road trip" in the making.
I realized this morning that it's been a couple of weeks since I lasted blogged. Guess I've been busy . . . going out of town for the "Mega High School Reunion" in Tavares, FL, with graduates congregating from the years 1941 to 2009! It was so much fun seeing everyone - some people that I had not seen since we left high school on June 6, 1973! As you can appreciate, most people I kinda recognized, and some I knew right away - then there were those that have changed so dramatically I didn't have a clue as to who they were! How embarrassing!
But . . . back to the "I've been busy" part . . . I've been quilting and binding Halloween wallhanging-sized quilts for my upcoming shows in Crabapple and Big Canoe (check my website "Show" schedule for details). North Georgia has had its unfair share of rain and thunderstorms, and this Saturday was no exception! It rained ALL DAY LONG! But . . . the up-side to a really rainy day is that I got so much done - my car didn't leave my driveway since Friday night! The results of my hard work have paid off - I'm right on schedule for finishing everything and being totally ready for my Shows! And I've got lots of wonderful Halloween door banners and wall hangings that will make their debut this Saturday! I'll be taking photos in the next couple of days, adding them to the home page of the website, just to give you a sneak peak!
