Four Seasons Quilt Shoppe - Fall is in the Air . . .

When I lived in Florida, I had a really great tree right outside my living room window, and believe it or not, the leaves of that tree would turn red in September! It was always the first tree in the neighbor to change, and I always looked forward to seeing it become a brilliant red each year. Now that I live in north Georgia, there are so many beautiful trees that turn a million shades of autumn - red, gold, rust, purple, yellow - and it's just breathtaking. I feel very fortunate to live here. So you can imagine my delight when each year, the tree outside my living room window - in Georgia - begins to change from green to bright red. Shown above is a photo taken this week of the first leaf, and see how the stems of the leaves change to crimson first! It's almost as though they have blood running through their veins! Hehehehehe! Pretty soon, the Bradford pear trees will turn bright red and make the countryside appear as if it's on fire! Oh, how I love Fall! I'm getting ready for my first vendor show on Saturday, October 3, in Crabapple. I've got lots of new Halloween and Fall quilts - many in the oh-so-popular wallhanging and door banners sizes - and I think you'll find something to help you decorate your home for this wonderful season!
