Little Jack and the Pink Quilt

My mom has made all of her grandchildren quilts of their very own, and the latest round of quilts were "totally pink" for Ava and Audrey, my brother's little girls. While she was here visiting from Thanksgiving to New Year's, we quilted both pink quilts and Mom stitched the binding, just in time for Christmas. Of course, Little Jack simply couldn't resist the opportunity to catch up on his kittie kat naps while perched on one of the pink quilts while it was "in production". Normally, I don't let the kitties sleep on quilts in process, but just like her grandchildren, Nana has spoiled Little Jack, as you can clearly see! And every time I change the linens and quilts, my "pride" is eager to take a nap on the sweet-as-sunshine sheets and quilt. Ahhhhh, the small pleasures in life are few, but clean sheets and a pretty quilt is as good as it gets!

Thank you for visiting my blog! The posts (6)in my booth are old porch posts with the original corbels at the top on each side of each post (had to put shelf brackets on feet, otherwise I would have had an extra 25$ in each post) They are about 7' tall approx. They are for sale--$65 each. I don't know where you can find them--I haven't seen many lately--although you can buy them at Home Depot new. I can deliver them if you are interested, (I am going to Dahlonega tomorrow), otherwise, don't get up that way except for the show the 3rd weekend of the month. Nancy (anna.young51@yahoo.com)
