Oktoberfest @ Big Canoe

Another great Oktoberfest @ Big Canoe! The weather was perfect (although slightly warm in mid-afternoon), and the quilt sales were good! I always enjoy the crowds at Big Canoe - they are a fun group of people who love their community and it shows! I sold equal amounts of Halloween and Christmas quilts - always big sellers at Oktoberfest for me - and will now take the remaining Halloween quilts to Sew Memorable Quilt Shop in Dawsonville, where they will be available through the end of October. Lots of people are visiting the area to buy their pumpkins, run through a corn maze, or just take in the great countryside of Dawson and surrounding counties.

Now I have to get busy making a few more Christmas quilts and garments for my next vendor show at Holiday Marketplace in Gainesville on November 4, 5 & 6! That's a fun show that's well-attended by many people who are buying their Christmas gifts early! Come visit Four Seasons Quilt Shoppe, along with Three Birds Studio (great handmade jewelry), Secret Garden Soaps (the most wonderfully fragranced soaps!), and many, many more great vendors! It's a great start to the Holiday season!

I cannot believe this is my third comment on your blog today! Do you know Patricia of Three Bird Studio? I took some classes from her and love her stuff. She is a hoot.
