The patisseries and chocolate shops of Paris are phenomenal! So many choices, such wonderful displays and the Easter decorations in these wonderful emporiums are beyond words. Every arrondisement (area) of Paris has a good number of pastry and chocolate shops and these delicacies are consummed daily. Every morning, fresh baked goods show up in the cases and it's really difficult to decide which one (or more than one, if you must) to select as your daily "treat". I swear, I did not see one fat Parisian, so the amount of consumption (please refer to my coffee story below) must be the key to their slimness! It's not WHAT you eat, it's how MUCH you eat. It brings a whole new meaning to "save room for dessert"!
