Have you always wanted to send your friends and family a Christmas card with you and your kitty or puppy seated right next to the "man in the bright red suit"? Well, this is your chance and it's for a great cause, too. The Dawson County Humane Society will be sponsoring Pet Photos with Santa this coming Sunday, December 14, at Rock Creek Park in the Pavillion. Give Fido a bath, fluff up Prissy's furry coat, and bring the kids 'cause there's story-telling and hot cocoa and cookies for everyone. And the proceeds go to the Dawson County Humane Society, located next to Rock Creek Park. While you're there, visit the DCHS Shelter, and maybe you'll find a dog, cat, puppy or kitten that will be a wonderful "Christmas addition to the family". The Shelter has a wide selection of pets right now from kittens to large-breed dogs, and they all need to find their forever-home. Hope to see you in Dawsonville on Sunday!
