In Full Color . . .

For the past couple of weeks, driving up GA 400 on the way home from work has been a wonderful experience. Oh, I'm not talking about the bumper-to-bumper crawl that happens right around Exit 12 as four lanes compress into two . . . I'm talking about our north Georgia foliage, which is just breathtaking. Every shade of autumn - mustard yellow, bright scarlet red, rusty orange, plus the stark contrast of the deep green hue of the pine trees - this riot of color makes me very glad that I moved to an area that has a wonderful change of seasons. Even my Adirondack chair on the porch turns a sweet shade of chartreuse when it rains, and there, a beautiful red leaf rests. Oh, yes - Fall is my favorite season, and all of the wonderful colors are the reason . . . go out, take a walk, take your camera, and add a beautiful photo to your computer's screensaver to remind you of the beauty of nature.
