Pumpkin Harvest

The sewing machine is humming, the quilting machine is awaiting, and new Fall quilts and wall hangings are coming out of Four Seasons Quilt Shoppe faster than corn grows! Two weeks ago, I planted my Lumina pumpkins and butternut squash in anticipation of a good Fall harvest. The tomatoes are turning bright red, sunflowers are moving their crowned heads across the sky as the sun travels east to west, and the sweet potato vine is a cascade of bright lime green! All of this activity leads up to the Fall harvest, and a color explosion of orange, rust, avocado, crimson, mustard - both in my quilts and in the wonderful selection of fruits and vegetables available throughout north Georgia at farmers' markets and roadside stands. The photo above is a sample of more good things to come at the Crabapple Arts and Antiques Show on Saturday, October 4. Although it's still a few months away, I'm eagerly awaiting this wonderful show, and being able to share my Halloween, Fall harvest, and Holiday quilts with eager customers. Mark your calendars now, and make plans to join me and many of the vendors from Lakewood 400 Antiques as we share our "best of the best" with you.
