Christmas in July
I've been busy making new quilts for upcoming Fall shows, and one of the recurring themes to my quilts are dogs and cats. Well . . . you can imagine how happy I was to find this absolutely adorable fabric collection from Moda. What a great sense of humor! The "12 Days of Christmas" has always been one of my favorite Christmas themes, so when Jeanne at Sew Memorable was selecting her holiday fabric collections, I was tickled pink about this crazy, wacky, fun take on a yuletide tradition. I made this little wall hanging in just a few hours, then quilted it with my favorite thread from Superior Threads - you'll love their product - completed the binding, and Bow Wow! This quilt is the sample for Sew Memorable, and I will be making several more to sell at shows beginning in early October. If you're a quilter like me, you can buy the panel or the kit from Sew Memorable in Dawsonville. But if you'd rather that I made it for you, please contact me at my website - www.fourseasonsquiltshoppe.com - and as with all of my cat and dog quilts, all proceeds go directly to the Dawson County Humane Society.
